Hi mtapp. Be very carful !! i have spent some weeks trying to get a slow downer and all have been infected, even the ones that have been recommended to me by good friends. It is hard to tell witch are the authentic sites. when you download them there are tag on programs, they state that if you don't want the tag on's to just uncheck the boxes, i did that but it doesn't work.
amazing slow downer full version password
If you own an iphone or ipad, etc., the itunes store has the amazing slow downer app for $15. I don't have a droid device, but I would imagine there would be one for droid, as well. If you have a song on your iphone, ASD can import it directly in a couple seconds, so you can slow anything in your music library down, almost instantly.
I just ordered (via KAGI) a copy of Amazing Slow Downer. As far as I'm concerned, based on my evaluation, you haveno competition in the looping/slowdown arena. Believeme, I own Transkriber v1.2 and CD Looper v2.0 and neither one canhold their own against Amazing Slow Downer. The quality ofyour slowdown algorithm is so far superior tothose products that if I hadn't already shelled out money forthem it would be a joke. Your product is far easier to use andthe interface more intuitive than either of your competitors.Don't even get me started on speed comparisons. Also, your loophad no audible warbling or dropouts and was crystal clear -almost as good as the original full speed recording! Thanks forcreating a fantastic product that blows the competition away -hands down!!
Any of David's tracks should import smoothly into ASD. I put them on my google drive and then import into ASD. I just started here, but I use ASD on his full speed rather than his 15%/30% slow tracks.
If you are a musician who likes to learn new songs and techniques by listening to the same piece of music over and over but wish that the music could be played a little slower, then you will enjoy Amazing Slow Downer. You can repeat any section of the music at full speed, slow it down or even speed it up by stretching the music by -50% to 400% without changing the pitch! You can also change the pitch up or down in semi-tones or fine-tune in cents (100ths of a semi-tone) to suit your instrument. I have both for the Mac. I use Transcribe when I am transcribing a full jazz solo and notating it, the mearsure markers really help for that. For just figuring out a quick riff or solo for coverband stuff, I use Amazing Slow Downer. Or if I really need to slow down something to 20%.
The absolute best slowdown quality however is the Superscope Elevation software. It blows the others away on the 1/5 speed playback. It is amazingly clear. The others get a little underwatery below 35%. The Superscope software has a waveform display but is a little awkward to use as you have to import your tracks to it and it has its own little music library system.
With all of these, they sound great at 1/2 speed and I rarely have to venture below 50%, I'm not always transcribing Bird or Stitt. Also with all of these you set up loops. Transcribe will do the same with video files. The Amazing Slowdowner guy has a separate program to slowdown DVDs or TS_Video folders but it won't do mp4's or avi's plus it costs extra.
I very much like the fact that, unlike my previous slowdowner, Amazing Slowdowner has a Mix control, rather than a Balance or Pan control. With the Mix control, when you slide it all the way over to the right, not only is the left channel cut out, but the right channel shifts to the center, so you hear it equally in both ears of your headphones. Much better than just hearing it in your right ear only. Formerly, I had to carry around a short adapter cable that I built to do that. But Transcribe! has this Mix feature, too. And Audacity has myriad ways to edit music; I use Audacity frequently to turn a 20-second play-along exercise into a four-minute play-along exercise. And al three will work directly with Youtube videos. Amazing Slowdowner is better for practicing with play-alongs because you can import a whole gig's playlist at once and go back and forth from one tune to another with a click. I do not notice a difference in sound quality between them.
Not only does Transcribe! do this as well, it has several additional features that better those of downer (out of phase, more eq bands, etc). The sound quality is much better, it's graphically more appealing, making visual edits a breeze. And, to top it off, it's less expensive than slow downer.
Our particular app (Amazing Slow Downer) lets the user play music more slowly, since a couple of years ago also songs from Spotify. The "ios-streaming-sdk" is a beautifully designed framework that lets an audio developer do practically everything needed. In our case it makes it possible to access the raw audio samples and this way process the sound and then playback the processed audio using our regular audio playback engine. With your new SDK this is not possible. It might be that the "ios-streaming-sdk" is more difficult to use for an average developer but that also makes it more powerful.
As a music teacher whom has been using amazing slow downer for 15 years+ and Spotify since the beginning, I want Spotify to know that I will switch to Apple Music and bring all of my students with me if this goes through.
playback of spotify content for slowing down music being blocked, will be a huge roadblock for many musicians using apps such as the amazing slow downer, and will result in thousands of musicians switching to alternative streaming sites that will allow such actions. "The Amazing Slow Downer" is a great example, one better than remote alternatives and other playback. It is a tool used by thousands of musicians, would be very upsetting to see suggestions ignored andspotifycontinuing forward with the rule

I went ahead, I bought it and within just a few hours, I realized the potential it had for my teaching practice. I have 24 students, and every single student, except for four - so 20 of them, now have Song Surgeon...."Also there was a review of Song Surgeon done on the Banjo Hangout site, which is posted here that you might like to read.banjohangout.org/blog/31636What is Song Surgeon?Song Surgeon is an audio slow downer and key changer.
