C3 Cube Episode 1 English Dub: Meet Fear, the Mysterious Being from the Black Cube

Housing Complex C will premiere on October 1 at 12:00 a.m. EDT (effectively, October 2) on Adult Swim's Toonami programming block. The anime will then stream on HBO Max the next day. It will have half-hour episodes.

Back in late October, GameRant took a second look at the premiere of Chainsaw Man, but this time in English. Though the first episode was razor-focused on Ryan Colt Levy's Denji, it was a productive focus that let audiences come to care for this character immediately, with much the same success as the Japanese version.

Suzie Yeung was already impressive as Makima in her appearance at the end of Episode 1, but her scene with Denji in Episode 5 was something special. Her grasp of the character and the power she has to hold over others through speech alone is sublime. In that particular episode, none of the warmth felt in her performance is lost for even a second, and neither is the frightening mystique behind her honeyed words.

As a stage actress in Dallas, Clinkenbeard got involved in voice-over when fellow voice actress Laura Bailey brought her to Funimation for an audition.[4][5] Her first voice role was in Dragon Ball GT;[6] her first lead role was Éclair in Kiddy Grade.[1][7] Midway through the Kiddy Grade series, director Justin Cook appointed Clinkenbeard as the ADR director for the rest of the episodes. Her other major role early in her career was Rachel Moore in the detective anime show Case Closed. She would later direct along with Mike McFarland on Fullmetal Alchemist which came out in November 2004 on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming block.[4][5]

Many fans were upset and opposed the idea of recasting the voice actors with new ones. Some were open to the idea because they weren't fond of the old voice actors in the first place. Some wanted to see the special episode before making a comment.

TAJ Productions went out of business in early 2008, and DuArt Film & Video became Pokémon USA (now called The Pokémon Company International)'s new partner in producing the English adaptation. Because the show had grown somewhat in popularity over the past two years, production costs weren't kept as low, and DuArt brought back many of the original voice actors to play newer, smaller roles, in addition to reprising their old roles. This included Ted Lewis, the original voice actor of Giovanni; Rodger Parsons, the original narrator; and Mike Pollock, the original voice actor of Mr. Contesta, who replaced Craig Blair when he departed from the franchise. Other actors from the original cast who have returned to voice characters in current episodes include Rachael Lillis, Maddie Blaustein (briefly before her death), Erica Schroeder, Lisa Ortiz, Jason Griffith, and Dan Green, among others. However, DuArt has kept most of the main voice cast from the TAJ dubbed episodes for consistency.

Chainsaw Man already debuted on the service in its original Japanese with subtitles on October 11, with the first two episodes currently available. The remaining ten episodes will be made available every Tuesday, with the English dub following suit with episodes dropping each week going forward.

In our 9/10 of the first episode (in Japanese), IGN said: "The Chainsaw Man premiere more than lives up to the manga's hype with some stunning and brutal action, gallows humour, an incredibly bleak story, and an endearing protagonist."

Memorial Edition is a recut version of Studio 4C's Golden Age Arc film series, which consists of The Golden Age Arc I - The Egg of the King, The Golden Age Arc II - The Battle for Doldrey, and The Golden Age Arc III - The Advent. The series expands on the story of these films by adding brand-new scenes. The last episode also pays tribute to the franchise's late creator, Kentaro Miura, who died in May 2021 from an acute aortic dissection. The artist was 54 years old.

Adult Swim Delves into the Anime Multiverse with New Series Orders for "Rick and Morty: The Anime" and "Ninja Kamui"Adult Swim, the leader in adult animation and #1 destination for young adults, announced the greenlight of two all-new anime series: Rick and Morty: The Anime from director Takashi Sano (Tower of God) and Ninja Kamui from director Sunghoo Park (God of High School, Jujutsu Kaisen). Both series are in production and will premiere on Adult Swim and HBO Max."Toonami helped introduce anime to a U.S. audience 25 years ago, and is creating new, dynamic originals for the next generation of anime fans," said Michael Ouweleen, president of Adult Swim. "These two series build on the legacy of those recent originals such as Fena: Pirate Princess, Blade Runner: Black Lotus, Shenmue the Animation, with Uzumaki and Housing Complex C, premiering later this year."Based on the Emmy-award-winning adult animated series, Rick and Morty: The Anime is a 10-episode adventure debuting on Adult Swim and HBO Max. Sano previously directed two anime shorts, "Rick and Morty vs. Genocider" and "Summer Meets God (Rick Meets Evil)," which received widespread fan and critical acclaim upon release, generating over 10 million combined views on Adult Swim digital platforms. While celebrated anime director (and Rick and Morty superfan) Sano will adapt themes and events of the main series, Rick and Morty: The Anime will stand on its own as an original work. "The multiverse-straddling exploits of Rick and the gang pose challenges to the family bond, butthey always rise to the occasion," Sano explains. "It's such a life affirming sight, and Jerry is no exception." He adds, "I am honored to have been given an opportunity to tell a new story about this amazing family. I hope you enjoy their adventures!"Like Sano's previous Rick and Morty anime shorts, the series is from Telecom Animation Film (Lupin the IIIrd Series, Shenmue the Animation, Tower of God).A futuristic action/adventure anime, Ninja Kamui comes on the heels of the massive success of Park's recent anime feature Jujutsu Kaisen 0, the seventh biggest anime film of all time and the 15th highest grossing film in Japan of all time.Ninja Kamui follows Joe Higan who is a Nukenin - a former ninja who escaped his clan and is hiding from his violent past in rural America with his family. One night, he is ambushed by a team of assassins from his former organization who exact a bloody retribution on Joe and his family for betraying their ancient code. Rising from his seeming "death," Joe will re-emerge as his former self - Ninja Kamui - to avenge his family and friends. Kamui is a 21st century ninja, a shadowy anachronism who pits his ancient skills against high-tech weaponry with brutal finesse. He must face off against trained assassins, combat cyborgs, and rival ninjas to bring down the very clan that made him."This is a story I've always wanted to tell," said Park. "Transgression and punishment of a ninja who loses everything and goes out for revenge, and what lies at the end of his road. I am very excited about this new project and hope fans will be too."Ninja Kamui features character designs by Takeshi Okazaki (Afro Samurai, Star Wars Visions, Batman: Ninja), and is produced by E&H Production and Sola Entertainment (Lord of The Rings: War of The Rohirrim, Blade Runner: Black Lotus, Ultraman).About Rick and MortyRick and Morty is the Emmy-award-winning half-hour animated hit comedy series on Adult Swim that follows a sociopathic genius scientist who drags his inherently timid grandson on insanely dangerous adventures across the universe.
