In a book made using iBooks Author, you can link from an HTML widget to another place within the same book, or you can link to an EPUB (.epub) book or to another Multi-Touch (.ibooks) book. However, rather than planning five books ahead, you might want to draft an in-depth character profile for your protagonist. As we know, strong, memorable protagonists are what steer an episodic series to success. And while they remain fairly static, you can plan for layers of your main character to be peeled back throughout the series, like an onion. This can be their backstory, personality, relationships, etc. Alternatively, you can introduce minor changes in their lives, like shifts in their careers or living situations.
I have recently purchased a Kobo e-reader, and apart from standard .epub books I have already imported (which work excellently) I would also like to use it to read some .pdf files that also contain LaTeX.
